A RODDY FAMILY TREE BIOGRAPHY
BIOGRAPHY LATERAL DUBOIS ESTATE FORTUNE STORY

FRANCOIS URBIN DUBOIS, was the oldest child in his family, having 5 other brothers and 9 sisters from the parents of Francois Andre DuBois and Geneieve Durocher of Donaldsonville, Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Research of the Pulic Record has not produced a wife, marriage, his biological children, reported death, Last Will and Testimony or Estate Succession. Any legal document of value, produced in the name of 'Francois Urbin Dubois', would constitute a legal claimant, for the decendant children of Francois Urbin Dubois, (14) sibling brothers and sisters.

Celestin and his family was reported, living on the Estate of Francois Urbin Dubois. Celestin's marriage, dated 1878, would put a potential death of one Francois Urbin Dubois, as early as, year 1878. Time, date and location of the death of, (Francois Urbin Dubois), is unknown. The past (50) years, sibling decendants of Francois Urbin Dubois have investigated, for 'Ligitimate Claimant' to his Estate. Every Estate attorney, sibling decendant consulted with, agree, the Estate Property in the absence of a Last-Will and Testimony or Succession must revert back to the parents, if deceased, divided among siblings and their decendants, without biological children to heir his Estate.

A Last-Will or Succession, surely would have been ajudicated by a local court or judgeship, If the death would have been reported, but was not. For documents of death to exist locally, next of kin would have been required to report death to local authorities. On reporting, the courts would have been required to open a succession. If his death, in fact, took place on the frontier, while he was working anywhere in the U.S. with a surveying team, and his designated next of kin was living on his Estate and the absence of such a report of death, it is certainly reasonable, to question and investigate the occupancy and later disposition of the Estate.

Francois Urbin DuBois, lived at a time the first U.S. Geological Survey was established, in 1834. Francois Urbin DuBois, 13 years old at the time, and later by occupation was somehow connected to this activity. Stories heard by my parents, and in my presence, by older people who claim to be related to this family said, Francois DuBois had made complaint to the Government, who was not always timely with its payroll and sometimes paid their employees with Federal gifts of land, 'called LAND GRANTS', having an irrevocable title to 'tax exempt' parcels of land, in exchange for payment of services rendered to, this Federal Government Agency.

A Genealogical Drawing was presented to our family. This drawing was created free-handed, by a man who resides on St. Louis Street, along the St. Louis drainage canal, in Houma, La. who is related bilaterally, to a women who is a direct decendant of Francois Urbin DuBois.

This drawing is Titled 'TRUE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL MADE APRIL 2, 1967, BY: REQUEST'. The drawing depicts an Escrow Account existing in 1940, in the amount of $368,000,000.00. The Escrow Account represented an accumulation of payments from Oil Production Revenue, received by the Heirs of Francois Urbin DuBois Estate. That Selestian DuBois and Family resides on the Estate and are receiving royality payments. Alidor DuBois, brother to selestian, is neither receiving, from the Land-Grant nor Escrow.
